Finally, a game about crimp abuse

Just boring, everything about this game is boring. The most baffling choice is that there is only one path to go. What?? The whole appeal of roguelikes is being able to explore and find items. This is more a top-down beat em up game, if anything. The combat is also really boring, you only have this slow snowball attack and the enemies never bother you. It's almost like I'm the bad guy here, storming in their homes killing innocent monster civilians! Could the snowballs be faster(without upgrades)? Maybe a melee attack to spice things up? Different spells?

The presentation also leaves a lot to be desired. The games seems to go for a Hylics style, but it just looks too generic and everything looks like a free asset. Also, what's up with the filter? It doesn't add anything or make the game look more appealing, in fact it makes some text straight up unreadable! Just get rid of it if it's off by default anyway. The music and sound effects especially are incredibly stock, to the point of being unfitting(why does being hit by fireballs make a punching sound?). You can't even fully mute the music.

I don't mind the "buy your upgrades" approach too much, I'm sure it could work if the dungeon crawling itself was more exciting. My question is...who or what exactly is making me stronger? A guy, a spell? All you get is a generic brick wall, making it feel very "pay to win".

I've been very harsh, but I do like that you can change your characters colours! The model is basic enough that no colours feel weird and the customization is just nice to have in general. From a technical standpoint, the game is very well made. This clearly isn't "my first game I made in a weekend", you can tell that time was put into this. For that, I do have to applaud you! However, I really do not think this is actually worth paying for. This game is just way too bland, stock, monotonous and boring.

I really like the juice of this game! It feels very good to play, everything looks pretty and the sound effects are very satisfying! I like the weapon swapping and the overall gameplay of building up your character, I really like the freedom of choice there! I started off just giving myself as many hands as I could before focusing on life stealing. It was fun seeing the screen get so crazy!

I do find it a bit disappointing that there's no real goal, other than "survive until you die/stop playing". You don't get told what wave you're on or how long you've been playing, which at least would have added a score-element to the game and an incentive to keep playing.

This game is really nice, esp since it was made in such a short time frame! Feels good and satisfying to play, I just get kinda bored once the novelty wears off. Great work regardless!
